today consisted of paying off debts hanging over me from the past 6 months (or more) and finally picking up my sweet ass bike.

it feels amazing.

money is okay for once, and it couldnt have come at a better time.

but thats the way it usually goes with me (knock on wood).

i like to imagine my life as a truman show sort of movie, where, just as i start to struggle to the point where it becomes sad, the director throws me a bone to keep things going. im not really very good at taking care of myself, i realize this.

i finally saw darjeeling limited last night and it exeeded my expectations. wes anderson speaks straight to my heart.

THANKSGIVING WAS AMAZING, it was spent more with friends than family but i havent had that much fun in a long time.

did i mention, money is good for once?

it is.

im almost to a point where my "studio" has everything it "needs", im stoked. write a song, i will record it for you.

also i have been using alot of quotations lately in writing and in conversation, is that annoying?

and i have been using the word jank (junk) far too frequently.

but i like it.

i'll quit when i become overly aware that i am doing it too much.


im trying to write more, and read more. its good for the mind, im far too worried about losing as i get older, Alzheimer's is a family trait on both sides of the fam. and my brain is already fucked from drugs. they say though, that if you continue to excersize it as you get older that it can prolong the effects. also they have quite a few drugs now that are helping. "helping" being the opporative word.

anyway!

they have started playing christmas music on the radio, that makes me happy.

it also means christmas is coming/almost here, and i love christmas time. i hate cold weather and i am the opposite of a religious person, so i realize that this is a little odd, but this time of year really has such an energy and excitement to it. its really tied with halloween for favorite holiday.

war elephant has slowed down as of late but that is about to change. expect shows early next year at the latest.

boston market is good, get some.
